Some of us guys can't sleep easily when whenever we want to sleep. In order to get sleepy we watch television, watch movies and some of us read anything while lying down for a sleep..
Yes, I've done this before when I was at my younger age. Recently it's my attitude anymore because I don't have problem in sleeping..
How about you guys, is your attitude to read anything while lying and ready on your bedtime sleep...

hello daddy! in my school days year, i usually read my books before going to sleep...hehe and sometimes reviewing my notes... now, i don't usually read when i am on bed, first is because lighting in our room is not good for reading and usually hen i go to bed, i easily fell asleep.. but when i have nothing to do, and there's something to read like some magazines, books, i read them while lying down on sofa...and usually it makes me feel sleepy! haha by the way, my favorite to read is our religious magazine and i love the last issue we have...happy [ckyera]

I seldom do that now, it strains my eyes. so if i want to read and it will take long i need to get up, find a comfortable position for me to enjoy reading without experiencing any stress in my eyes! Hi CK, Oppps...this made me go back to my younger years too--those lovelife and wakasan comiks really makde me crazy. i save my baon just to rent or buy the comiks hehehe. i don't like the "itutuloy" stories because i don't have the budget to sustain my hobby until it reaches the end. we have something in common sis! @Mob, i love the funny comics are you familiar with it? niknok, planet op d eps, superkat...a lot friend. at least we can relate with each others experience when it comes to reading comics. My dear amigo, I couldn't imagine myself lying in bed while reading from the laptop(nyahahahaa)just kidding dear.rasp I also had the same habit during younger days,but now,i seldom read from books,not unless i bought a new interesting book or,my mom sent me new TIMES Mag and NEWSWEEK,I will never let the night pass without reading any article,and yes,i read it while lying. I love reading while lying down, actually it's usually the only way I can read in my apartment...Reading helps me fall asleep but sometimes if it's a good book I can't put it down and before I know it, it will be like 4am and I would have finished the book...lol. Same here. I pick up a book and just collapse on the bed. It doesn't really matter to me whether the book is good or not. I just fall asleep anyway. The funny thing is that by the time I wake up, my finger is still on the right page. That has always freaked me out! [Espeon150]
With me its either sitting down or lying down. Whenever either position gets too much for my back I just change to the other. I hardly ever do it any other way and its in my bed after hours. Yes I sure do read lying down, quite often. Most times when I do it though it is to nod off. I'm a pastor and I take a beauty nap usually Sundays afternoon. To "further my education" I have been reading things from the early church "fathers." I've just read Clement's letter to the Corinthians for the second time. It's not that I like it, but I was trying to find additional information the second time around. Imo, his epistle is a real sleeper. There are times I seem to absorb things a bit better lying down. I don't usually have any problems sleeping and I don't have any rituals before bed in order to get sleepy. It does have to be quiet and warm and I have to be comfortable. and I am a light sleeper. I've stopped reading these days, but I just sit on the computer till late night especially when I am too caffeinated. But most of the times yes, if I can't sleep then I read something on my laptop or surf. But I used to read books before while lying down and sure my eyes do droop after a while. Thanks for reminding me, I guess I should start it again.... :-) A cup of hot milk also helps to fall asleep. i think that it is good way to read anything while lying down.sometimes i could not easy sleep,i find that when i read book,this make me have sleeping mind and to sleeping quickly,this become my habit to do like that,i find that it is very useful to me to improve quality of sleeping. [bingchen]
Hello bigchen when we were young (with my siblings) we were forbidden by our parents by reading while lying down that's why we were not used to do it..but now I realize it is not true..why? it is because it was useless of following those orders from our parents. Hello there Mob. I don't have that kind of habit. I have known people like that, like they have to read at least 2 pages in a book before they go to sleep. But me, well, I don't have that kind of hobby and right I'm just too tired and will easily lay down in my bed immediately.
