I haven't bought newspaper for a long time because of internet. It's already mass news via the net everyday. And the newspaper seem to give me the latest news later than internet. Besides, at least it costs money to buy newspaper. So my news come from internet, TV and my friends todaylol

responses and comments:
I don't buy newspapers except pick up the free local ones at the metro when I use the train or bus. As like you I get most of my news online or at 5pm news on tv. [maddysmommy]
Same with me, the newspaper I usually read is the free one that's handed out near train and bus stations. Sometimes I'll buy a regular newspaper when I'm going to be away from an Internet connection, like when I'm going to be on a long bus, train, or plane ride. [Idlewild]
I don't buy newspapers. I read about news on TV. It would be wasting of money to do it. I look at newspapers when relaxing with coffee in bookstore or at other businesses. I didn't pay for newspaper for last 10 years. [polachicago]
That's a very long time that you don't buy newspaperhappy [youless]
Yes, I still get the paper delivered daily. I feel lost if I don't have my paper to read in the morning with my breakfast, and I can't watch the news, as my young son has ears that pick up everything that is on telly! I'm not real keen in reading news on the computer screen, and it takes up the time I could be doing other things! [muscare]
Yes, although sometimes it depends on what is going on in the world. Sometimes it can be quite upsetting! [muscare]
hello youless my family and i haven't purchased a newspaper in a very long time either. we used to buy a Sunday newspaper each week for the coupons that would be in the newspaper. then by the time that everybody gets finished looking at the newspaper, it is a mess everywhere, all over the couch, on the love seat, on the floor, on the kitchen table, on the bed in one of the bedrooms, in the bathroom, grrr. lol. where i shop at the grocery store, i use my shoppers card when i am at the check-out lane and the store will send me coupons that i get in my regular maibox outside and those are about the only coupons that i use now. have a wonderful evening. [RLFinNash]
Having coupons are nice, unfortunately coupons are not so common to be found in newspaper here. [youless]
I still buy newspaper daily, I do read news via the net watch new from TV but I still buy newspaper it help my kids to recogise word as have the habit of reading news daily. [lynnchua]
That's good for your children. Maybe when my son grows up, I will also consider it again. [youless]
Presently,I'm only buying our local weekly papers. National daily ones have too much irrelevant material and Gossip-I get enough news if I want it from TV,Radio, and online. [ShepherdSpy]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
Hello dear youless. We book a certain newspaper for my son. The newpaper is entitle with Reference because my son is interested in it with a lot of news from home and abroad. I started to book this newspaper for him since he was a junior high school student. I do this to arouse his interest in study and he is really interested in reading it every day when he gets the paper. He is very good at his arts and literature, partly because of our developing his interest in it. He is often proud to tell us that he gets the top points in examination about history, politics and geography and Chinese. I am so happy that we are doing the right thing for him. Besides, I also like to read this newspaper as it provides lots of news by reporters from home and abroad with different views of point. It helps widen our vision with a lot of knowledge. Thanks for your discussion. [williamjisir]
Thanks so much for the best response, dear youless. Have a good time. [williamjisir]
No I never really spent on newspaper because when I work, I take the subway and there is some free newspapers to be distributed, I would take those and just read during my ride. When I wasn't working, I would watch news on the TV and I don't really think it's necessary for me to spend on newspaper. [wondericequeen]
There are so many pieces for Hong Kong newspaperhappy [youless]
I can't remember when I last bought a newspaper. It was probably when I was travelling and wanted something to read and that was a LONG time ago. Great question Thanks Zelo [zeloguy]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
We don't buy the paper...why would we when we can get it for free right? [wanttoworkfromhome]
Thanks for your reply. [youless]
I don't read it anymore for a big reason. It's time for paperless to save our planet. Minimize paper use to save the forest. That's a little thing what we can do. What do you think? [moerizal]
You are doing very well to protect our planet, thanks a lot! [youless]
I stop buying news paper I just watch news for the day everyday. And here in the internet. I save money for stopping to buy. It's all here in the net so why spending money to it. [2btrueinu]
Thanks for your reply. [youless]
I don't buy newspapers anymore, I found I didn't read them and they were just hanging around the house, I get all my news from the tv and the internet, also I am not wasting trees [winterose]
Perhaps today we don't have more time to read newspaper. [youless]
We subscribed to the Arizona Republic daily paper until they discontinued service completely in our area. They do not even sell it at the news stand. Fortunately we are on the state line so now we subscribe to the Las Vegas paper. It is sometimes strange that we live in Arizona and get the Nevada newspaper, but it is better than nothing! I guess you don't have a canary, because you cannot line the canary cage with an internet newpaper, lol. We don't have a canary either, but we do use the newsprint for a lot of things after we finish reading the news. Well, you are right, too. I get most of my news from the Drudge Report. [drannhh]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
I very rarely buy a newpaper because of the convience and really, we can get our news online without having to buy a newspaper. I also think that online news is less bias in their opinions because you have so many more view points in reporting. You get MSN, CNN and then there is active blogging in you tube that their Videos sometimes catch more than a reporter would. The internet is a wonderful place for news. And the glory of it is you get so many different veiw points all for the price of your monthly fees to have the internet. [ljegbers]
Although sometimes the news may not be true via the net, but at least you really get mass information in this aspect. [youless]
yes, we buy two papers everyday, we buy the evening telegraph, and the sun, but we have the telgraph delivered, the only day we dont buy two is a sunday because they dont print the telegraph on that day so we just buy the news of the world! [Pinkon4u]
Two newspaper a day, that sounds a lotlol [youless]
me too..and if we have to look for real state or job advertisement we have a free news paper..so we dont buy..it [marketing07]
That's true. It's easier to find such trustworthy information from newspaper. [youless]
Yes, I still buy newspapers from time to time. But TV is the main source from which I get daily news. From newspapers I can get more than news. What's more, I do paper cutting for some good articles and funny stories. [wonderful07]
That's a good habit [youless]
though my husband does read the news on the net, we also get the newspaper delivered to our door. With school going kids, I find that I get more useful articles and pictures from the newspaper ....and I also like to read the newspaper and not on the net. I love the sudoku in the newspaper....and there are lots of little things. lol...I also use the old newspaper for various things...like cleaning (best for glass surfaces)...and sometimes just for craft activities for my son...when I don't need to BUY nice paper for it. I also give old newspapers to charity every month and they sell these and make some money out of it that they can use. [SViswan]
I really appreciate the way you recycle the newspaper [youless]
I cant even remenber when i bought newspaper last. The internet has made it so easy that you can read more than you can buy. [emmyemoney]
I agree with you. [youless]
Very seldom,it can happen I buy a newspaper a Sunday. In Stockholm,we´ve 3 free morning papers mon-Fridat. And I also read the news on the webb, then you can choose what you want to read [Zoegas]
I get my news from the internet and the television. Mostly because of the cost and the fact that I don't like clutter in my house. Besides, there is too much in the paper that doesn't interest me. I do not need all the sales stuff and sports stuff. So it is a waste for me. [sageivyberyl]
Exactly. A lot of stuff I don't need or want. On the internet you can choose what you want to read and you can read several different newspapers so you can get a more accurate report of what is going on in the world. Especially when so many newspapers show so much bias. [sageivyberyl]
You mean newspapers are still sold? No I do not buy the newspaper anymore, haven't in years. [razcal2267]
Yes, newspaper are still sold today, aren't they?wink [youless]
We have two newspapers delivered. I think there are many other reasons to read papers than just the latest news. my papers have insightful journalists that share their views on what's going on as well. There are reviews of books, movies and shows. There are info of what goes on in the city we live in. I fwel the papers go more into the background of the news that most other sources do. [teison2]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
We still get a local paper, but I get the world news online. I hardly even watch the news on TV because the coverage is not good now. They pound the same couple of stories into the ground for a week and totally neglect others. [Anhedonia]
You really pay attention to the news. [youless]
yes my friend I have a subscription for the local newspaper but it will run out end of June. I will see whether then I will buy some other one or just get it in the morning when I have the time and small change to do so. I read the newspaper while commuting to work by train and its always useful to keep me awake. [book1962]
You must have some reasons to subscribe other newspaper. [youless]
Oh yea, we have subscribed for a couple of newspapers to our household. One is quite expensive, but popular called "The times of India" and another is a local one. I do not read more on Internet, as it's not good on my eyes, which are already terrible. [I_LUV_U]
You are right, looking at the computer for a long time is very harmful to the eyesight. I shall pay attention to it, too. [youless]
No I do not buy the paper any more all the news is depressing and there is enough depressing news on t.v. [sweetaspie52]
Sad to hear that it's more depressing news... [youless]
I do not buy newspapers anymore, but my hubby buys the local paper every week, 40p it costs and there is never nothing in it! It has to be the most boring paper ever. I go online and read the news on a paper there, and I watch the main news and local news on tv. [gemini_rose]
If your husband buys the newspaper, then it's better you read some of it so that this newspaper will be very worthhappy [youless]
I don't buy newspaper to read news. i better watch it on TV. Yet i make it a habbit to buy the sunday Bulletin, because of Job Classifieds. I don't even read news, because maybe if I do, i can finish it in a week. So generally, i don't spend much time reading newspaper if not to check whether there is a recent job posting by a nearby company. [crisesand]
I agree that the jobs recruitments are much more reliable in newspaper. [youless]
I used to buy the local newspaper every morning on the way to work. Now we have internet at work and it has been a long time since I bought one. I think the day our internet was down at work was the last time I bought one. I love the internet for news. I can not only get local news but I can find out what is going on all over the world! I think a printed newspaper may go the way of the dodo. [whywiki]
I do not buy them daily. I have it subscribed to be delivered to my home daily. I prefer to read the hardcopy ones as I read while having my breakfast. It's easier than reading online. [whyaskq]
At least your eyes won't feel so tiring. [youless]
The only reason I would get a Sunday paper was because of the coupons. These days my supermarket has great specials so I rarely need coupons so I don't get a paper. [sarahruthbeth22]
Coupons is a good way for selling. [youless]
I still buy newspapers sometimes if I have spare time to read it. Newspapers are necessary nowsdays though many information such as the news you can get from the net. You can keep what you like from the newspaper, however, the net is renewed frequently. Besides, you can read the newspaper everywhere you like for it is quite convinient for you to carry. All the merits keep me buying newspapers. [May2008]
I never buy newspapers. I could never really stand touching that paper...now I am so happy I can get my news on line. [rcaira7]
Perhaps you don't like your fingers will be black after reading the newspaper?wink [youless]
I've never purchased a newspaper. I use the Internet for news. They also eat lots of trees, yuck! * Most news I obtain are sources from outside the United States because American media is controlled by just six companies. That leaves lots of room for sneaky censorship. For another thing, newspapers in the United States tend to slant the news toward a certain political slant. Usually Republican in my area! glare [CraftyCorner]
Thanks for your reply. [youless]
I do not buy a newspaper or subscribe to one! I read the same newspaper online! I will read it at school, or when visiting the library! [olivemai]
You're welcome! Most of the libraries are online and they have subscriptions to newspapers. [olivemai]
I buy it,but not very often. You know, although you can get new through you cellphone or on the Internent or somewhere else, touching the paper and holding the newspaper in your hand are different things. [113003455]
I agree with you. It's just like it's quite different to watch the cooking programs than eating the foodslol [youless]
Since I am a newspaper carrier, I get my paper for free. Otherwise, I was buying the Sunday paper only for the ads. [blackbriar]
Thanks! He's a feral cat I took in from a fellow mylotter last spring when he was only 4mos old. His name is Tigger. [blackbriar]
not only newspaper,i seldom buy real books now,coz i prefer to read electronic books on internet.it's more economical and convenient than to buy a real one. while i prefer to buy a newspaper when i have to wait for someone or paln to take bus. it's helpful to kill time. [sophialin]
I still buy books today as I can have a good discount to buy them via the net. Its delivery is free of charge and this is why I still keep my interest in readingwink [youless]
Yeah, i do agree with you and we also don't buy newspaper nowadays, just becuase there's Internet, Tv's are the source of new's media and also New's are updated every single hour or you can say every minute, but newspaper only get updated once in a day, so i prefer watching TV for latest news... [mnsrwt123]
Your baby avatar is very cute and I like it. Thanks for your reply. [youless]
yes i still buy the sunday paper.so i can just sit down and relax and read.also they have extra sections in there like travel section, comics etc.its a great way to relax and chill out on a sunday afternoon.cheers sue [suehan1]
Travel section, I like thatwink [youless]
yes reading news paper is a good habit .. it actually not only infomative but also giv a good knowledge abt ur language [harrish]
You are right. [youless]
Hi youless, just like you I prefer to get news from internet as they are always the latest ones. Besides I do like watching news on tv, especially those with comments given. You know my husband doesn't like sitting in front of the computer so he still insist to read news from newspaper. In case I come across any news which he is interested I would like to share the article with him. [lkbooi]
Everything hits the web at the speed of light these days. Seems that newspapers are pretty much getting beat UNLESS they have an online presence. I still pick up a free paper here & there to read when I get bored. [multimastery]
It's good that you can get the newspaper free of charge. [youless]
Yeah we haven't been buying newspaper. It is really just full of violence and disputes about the government..really just disappointment. [p3halliwel2005]
Thanks for your reply. [youless]
Yes, I still do. It actually provides a good start to a morning. Getting news from the net compared to newspapers is more eye-stresing. [ProdigY47]
You are right. And the news is really mass via the net. [youless]
Yes, I still do buy newspaper today. I don't know but I still like reading newspaper and actually we are subscribed to this paper for a long time now and I look forward reading it's columns. I still find newspaper informative and entertaining. Though we can find virtually anything on the internet, newspaper for me is still ok. [bluecrystal1982]
That's a habitwink [youless]
I do still have a newspaper delivered to my house everyday. [bam001]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
I don't buy a newspaper that often. I used to own newspaper stock, but I sold it because of the decline of the newspaper and print media in general. I also advocate that no one else buy newspapers because it's a waste of paper. Also the news on the internet and television is more up to date than the paper. But, I know a lot of people who love reading the paper and don't ever want to give it up. I sometimes find newspapers pleasurable, but not an an everyday news source. [desertdarlene]
That's true. My mom still buys newspaper because she doesn't use internet and computer. [youless]
i dont buy them, but the family does :- 1) my husband still prefers to buy newspaper everyday - (he also reads from the net glare), 2) my son buys the Monday paper only - because there is 'pull-out' provided especially for school-children, and he needs to use that his his schoolwork... i, too... read the news from the net - when i am at the office, or i'd just watch the tv when i am home... dont have much time to really read the paper at home.. [4mymak]
It seems newspaper is still very important for your familyhappy [youless]
yes i read the new york times ok [Lovedream]
It's a famous newspaper. [youless]
yes, we still buy three newspaper each day. whatever be the internet and all, we still enjoy reading newspaper each day after we get some time. its nice and relaxing for me. [subha12]
That's a good habithappy [youless]
I am not into news that much so i don't waste money on buying pieces of paper with news. [xixinha]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
If I lived alone then I certainly wouldn't buy one, but because my father does then I will read it, although I have to say I skip the depressing items, if I read a headline and it's doom and gloom I will not read any more. I like checking out what is on the television, so I will read the tv guide and will do the crosswords and suduko in the paper each day. [wolfie34]
It seems that crosswords and suduko are very attractive to readers. [youless]
no newspapers everything I need to know is on the website, or can be heard on NPR if I want in depth analysis. [bradhart]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
I'm tired of that dirty paper. I hate the ink in my fingers. I prefer reading the news in internet. The problem is that they don't have good proofreading and sometimes they publish garbage. The other thing I don't like about online newspapers is that they have too many banners and animated adds that make the sites too heavy and hard to see. They look very awful too. [Nushka]
The newspaper also has this disadvantage. I don't like my fingers to be dirty after read newspaper. [youless]
No,I merely buy newspaper everyday.I can read all the news throughout the Internet. So,I won't spend extro fee to buy an newspaper. It's not only waste my fee but also make more junk,I think. But,my brother like to buy newspapers everyday. He don't use the computer, just reading it on the newspaper. I guess, most of the young don't buy it,and the old has the costom to buy it. [sanzi1201]
Hello yopuless! Newspaper is the only means for me to get updated of whats happening around. I buy news paper on a weekly basis. I like getting updated to news and events happening. Happy myloting! [chase07]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
Paper copies of newspapers, books are easy to carry to any place and read. Its astonishing to find so much of information available on the net, but how many do of us have Laptops with Wireless net connectivity? We can not take a relaxing position to read things online. Moreover, reading for long hours would only strain eyes so much so that we can not sustain the habit. [p_vadla]
I always buy newspapers. Well almost everyday. There are still some news that I still prefer to read in the newspapers. Plus although you can find articles on any subject on the internet today, but I still like reading about them in newspapers. I also enjoy reading the editorials which is still difficult to find on the internet. [azahari33]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
Just this morning the paper man was at the door of my office and I didnt have money-I told him to come tomorrow, yes I still buy paper! [academic2]
That sounds interesting. [youless]
No,I don´t. In stockholm-Sweden,we´ve 3 free morningpapers mon-fri.So I read them at least 3-4 times a week.I prefer to read my news on the net. There you can find lots of different papers, only to choose what you want to read [Sthlm_59]
But I prefer to read them on the net. Then i can choose what I want to read about [Sthlm_59]
I do read news paper regularly. I agree that news is quite fast in internet then in the news paper. But inorder to get the complete picture and detail elloboration of the event, news paper are the best media. Also it's quite difficult to get the local news in the internet if it is not so important. In these cases i prefer newspaper to internet. [beekay]
Newspaper is still one of the main media today. [youless]
My mom still buys newspapers!! :p [doorlight]
My mom does the samelol [youless]
I still buy newspapers today. because sometimes I just can't count on the internet connection. so I still need offline source of news. and it enables me to spend more times offline, because I just can't stand too much staring on the monitors, and I can't just save all the news articles to read offline, because they would still need a staring on the monitor. :) and since the whole family still need the same news sharing, I think a newspaper still serves this purpose better. we will save more electricity, save internet bandwidth, and when we need to clip an article or news or information, we will only need to do it with the newspapers, no need to print from computer. and we will use less additional paper (for printing) and it will be good for environment too. rolleyes [bongkarpasang]
Actually I have never printed news from the internet yethappy [youless]
Since this discussion is 3 months old and there are too many pages of respnses to look through this may be my second time responding to it. But here goes. Just last week when I was shopping for groceries at Coop they had a booth set up by our local newspaper and I bought a subscription. But since I only wanted the newspaper that has the TV guide in it, I only ordered it to be delivered on Sundays. So they had a deal that if you subscribed it for 32 Sundays for $25.00 you got back a $10 gift card for your groceries you were buying right then. So it worked out for $15.00 I get the paper delivered to me every Sunday for 32 weeks. What a deal? Am I good or what?lol [chrislotz]
Thanks for replying my old discussionhappy [youless]
before the days of live tv i used t obelieve a lot of thigns in he newspaper, but these days i dont even use it to do the most menial jobs, cos when i read the paper it only shows the frustration of the prople who to pain to write it [knightrider]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
When I was in college I had time to read news paper I was reading it daily and I read two news paper one in english and another in my native language and my favorite columns were sports and entertainment and then exonomics.... and the day I joined my company I became busy and didnt really have time to read news papers now a days I read only through net and rarely get sometime to sit down and read news paper..... happy posting by Maathav..... [blackhole]
oh how old is he/she?! [blackhole]
I like the online news better! [beautyqueen26]
I agree with you. Internet solves many problems. It is much easier to check the internet, than drive and pay for a newspaper, and than just to through away to a garbage. You can find everything on the internet what is in a newspaper, and it is much faster. Even classifieds are common in the internet. I think maybe there won't be newspapers anymore in the future, since the power of internet. I think the long time owners of newspapers may definitely confirm that they sell much less since the internet has come to our lifes. Since I have the internet,I do not buy a newspaper anymore. [webmom75]
In fact the newspaper can't sell well like in the past because of the internet. [youless]
I buy news paper daily but unfortunately i don't open news paper daily.I get almost all news on internet and TV so i don't have that much patience to read an aricle for so much long time.I just visit news site and discussion with friends.I find myself updated.I buy news paper because of my younger brother he is still in college so he want to read daily news and all that stuff so i do. [moneymint18]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
Much as I would dearly like to buy one, I can't afford it - yet. A major daily costs more than an hour of internet shop rental. These days I rely on the television and the internet for news. But one of these days, I shall yet be able to get a subscription to at least one major daily newspaper. And when the very first issue gets delivered to my doorstep, I'll sigh with contentment, smile and maybe say to myself with a lot of satisfaction, "This is the life!" [NonaSaile]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
well I dont buy newspapers but I still do read whenever we have one at home (the latest of course), and if ever Im gonna be needing one then all I have to do is ask my girlfriend because they have this family business of newspaper distribution so they have all kinds of newspapers delivered hot and fresh newspapers a day before it is delivered to subscribers and vendors. [manipulativebastard]
You are lucky. [youless]
I still buy the printed papers occasionally. There are somethings that the internet can never provide that newspapers does. Advertisements for offers from all the local shopping centers. [ahgong]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
Yes I buy news papers daily. The first thing I do in the morning is browsing the news papers. Though I watch TV news regularly and online news through internet I read newspapers. It is a part of my life. My entire family read newspaper and now it became a habit and we are not comfortable with out reading the newspaper daily. [padmameera]
Some people have the habit to read the newspaper everyday. [youless]
if i reda a news paper i prefer to read it in the internet. it help me save for not buying a newspaper. [patzel88]
The only time I purchase the paper nowadays is when I put an ad in it myself, lol. Too much bad news, all the time. It's on television on the net even in spam. Then again it makes better and cheaper birdcage lining. [Lock_Heed]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
I still buy newspapers, because alot of the local news from my city you cannot get online. Sure, you can get a huge selection of stories, sports, weather and more, BUT.. I like to hear about whats going on in the town itself. I like little reports on school bake sales, and food drives. Most of the stories you see today are about horrible things! I believe that our home towns can give us the chance to see good .. even if it is just a little bit. I actually love reading the newspaper. It brings a smile to my face. Don't get me wrong, there is bad news too.. everywhere ya go.. but that little ray of hope is what i need. It's a nice change once in a while.:) [Twogen1987]
That's good that you concern about the news. [youless]
The only time I ever buy a newspaper is when something interesting is going to be in it, and I know about it in advance. The last time I bought a local newspaper, was when I knew I would have a letter to the editor published on a particular day. [danishcanadian]
Today there is a big news. That is Bill Gates donated a big amount of money. Even he has some negative remarks from some people, but I think at this point he is a kind and very generous man. [youless]
My mom gets the local paper and I read it but I don't subscribe to it myself. The local paper is so thin. Lately it seems to be getting thinner. I guess its because there is a new editor, but to me it isn't worth the money. [lucy02]
Here the newspaper is not thin in my opinion. So I don't have time to read it everyday. [youless]
I don't buy the newspaper anymore either. They actually update our local newspaper by the hour of what is happening or if something comes up. It is 1.50 on Sundays and .50 on weekdays for a newspaper anyway. When you don't read all of it this can become very costly. [baileycows]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
no, i don't anymore, unless there's something on the newspaper that i really need. i just simply read online or watch the news on TV. this way,i can save money:-d [shiloh_222]
I agree with you. [youless]
I seldom buy newspapers nowaday. Normally I go to the net for the latest news or watch Tv for news. [curious888]
That's like mehappy [youless]
i don't.,but my uncle bought almost everyday.,the reason why i don't buy newspaper now is because i can check the latest or the current events in the internet just like you.,and for me it is much easier for me to read some stuff over the internet aside from the fact that you will save your money in buying newspaper., Ü have a nice day ahead! see you around! myliezl0903 manila, phils june 23, 2008 4:00 PM happy [myliezl0903]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
I still buy newspaper today although i can get latest news online. I do check for news online and indeed it is faster than newspaper, but i still read them. [Athrun_9738]
Reading newspaper is good for you. [youless]
yes, the same to me.I also do not buy the newspaper every day now.But sometime, i will buy some newspaper about the people's life, I think all people have the same feeling.Internet has changed everything.More and more young man surf online every day and night, they can know everything through net.so they don't need newspaper anymore.maybe some old people who don't like the internet would buy the newspaper.LOL.but i am not. Good luck [successlog]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
My dad is the one who Supplies the newspaper at home --- and dig this, he buys 2 national spreadsheets and 2 tabloids everyday. Well one is that my father is no computer savvy so he does not know ANYTHING about the internet. And second, dad buys them for my mom too. Out of habit I guess. There are still small stories seen in the local papers and not shown on the internet. I also look forward to seeing the ads in the newspaper. [jammyt]
The newspaper is still very useful. [youless]
I get all of my news from the internet, I don't own a TV, I listen to the radio for news, I think I like the internet better for getting my news. [notlistening2]
That's very economical. [youless]
Sometimes, especially if I have to look for a new job. News media such as television, radio, and the internet are reliable enough to know what is happening to the world right now, domestic nor internationally. And also text messaging!Lolz. [yukiyoh1105]

I use to buy the Newspaper, but he only thing about buying the news paper is they want to bill you a month in advance, so I stop getting it, I just go to the store and buy it when I need to. [marciascott]
Here we have to pay for the subscription for a year, and then the newspaper will deliver to your home. [youless]
Considering how much America wastes... I'm kind of against buying newspapers now. Their value has decreased, there is less and less information and more and more bias.... You can find what you want, online, and not throw away more trees in the process... [Pitgull]
