Well actually,I really don't have any problems with my eyes but yeah I love different kinds of colors so I just wear fashion contact lense.:-0 The first contact lense I bought was Hazel brown but yeah it was a long time ago.Awhile ago I just bought Blue gray contact lenses because I always want to have blue eyes but yeah God gave me Pure black colors.:-0 Well I'm happy of them but I love fashion too.:-0 BUt I was wondering to those people who got problems with thier eyes,which do you prefer to use?COntact lense or Just eyeglasses?

i have recently underwent a laser operation not bcoz to be fashionable but as doctors said it was the only go. i have tried contact lenses too but i lost them while driving ma bike.i think glasses are fashionable as well as comfortable to use.the kind of laser operation i took made me to sit in a single bed for two weeks and still i feel my eyes are not normal but i have obtained good vision. well i've experienced both. i wore glasses for like three years and stopped because i thought i looked older when i was wearing them. so then i srated wearing lenses but i gave up. i never learned how to put them on quickly. it would take me 30 minutes or so to put them on. i thought it would just eat up my time. well anyway i also believe that wearing either is not really of a great help. if your eyes still can see at a distance, don't start wearing them because it just worsen your problem. now my eyes has been free of them for almost 5 years now. and i am still ok. most of the time i see things so clearly. i had the story why i started wearing classes. when i was a freshman in high school, i convinced my mom to take me to the eye doctor because i am having some problems with my eyesight. in the clinic i pretended i couldn't read some letters. so the doctor gave the proper glasses for me. i actually dreamed to wear a pair because i envied my friends. Now I will love to wear contact lenses but I have never gotten around to purchasing it simply because I don't dare to. I don't fancy inserting artificial things into my eyes. So I still wear spectacles. Glasses suck though. :( [monkeysay]
I've been wearing contacts since before high school. During those times, I used the hard lens and believe me, it was a pain to use. I swear if I had to wear something like that ever again, I'd rather not wear contacts anymore. Then I switched to wearing soft contacts which were way better and I can say that the pair I have on right now are the best. I'm not the type to change colors. I've always stuck to clear contacts, one because in case I can't wear one, it wouldn't be noticeable and two, because I love the color of my eyes (which are hazel brown) and I don't want to cover them up with a fake color. When I do wear contacts I wear the clear ones because I love my eyes and dotn want to change them. They change by themselves from blue to green so the only color i am missing is brown. lol. i do wear both eyeglasses and contact lenses. But i prefer contact lenses not only because it feels like you are not wearing an eye correctors but because some how i am more comfortable wearing it unlike eyeglasses it usaully making my nose bridge aches and i don't the look on me. I have reading glasses...but im terrible and dont use them. Which is bad considering I have a pair sat at work and a pair at home. I'm short-sighted and I use contact lens to correct my eyesight. Never did like spectacles and never will thumbdown It just feels so weird to have something hanging on my nose and ears that I feel so uncomfortable in glasses. If I have no contacts on hand, and only a spectacles, I would rather just go with the blurrish images for the entire day than to put on the glasses. It just makes me look so geeky and nerdy and I hate to look at myself with glasses on. What started me out on contact lens was the fact that I was curious about them, and it just looks so pretty and unique. In the past, we can choose to buy contacts that looks like cat's eyes, fire in the lens, star shaped and so on.. So, it was pretty unique and I was very attracted to the cat's eyes contact lens. My first pair of contact lens was in fact a coloured one! It was normal blue, then after which I experimented with purple lens, and then lastly green contact lens! The best coloured lens on me would be the green one as it makes me look exotic and enhances my tanned skin colour. happy Purple was the very ugly one on me - I look just like a ghost!! And cosmestic reasons aside, contact lens is just so plain convenient! We can do a lot of things when we have our contacts lens on rather than our glasses. Imagine trying to play sports with your glasses on and you will know what I mean. your pespiration will cause your spectacles to keep slipping downwards your face and it's just get so plain annoying to have to keep pushing it up for it to stay in place. For things like this, contact lens is the preferable choice. Hello insulin, I am wearing glasses not for fashion but because I need it to see clearly. I am what you call farsighted. I started wearing glasses when I am in college. I destroy my eyes because I started wearing my grandmother eyeglasses which has grade. I haven't tried contact lenses, I assumed it is expensive than eyeglasses and so I never inquire about it. I think I need to check contact lenses, they made a lot of improvement already and maybe it's good for me. They say eyeglasses cover your eyes about 70% and contact lenses 100% and I assume the grade of your eyes doesn't goes up when you used contact lenses than with glasses. Just an assumption. Hello insulin. I have always wondered at how it felt like wearing a contact lense. I have a sensitive eyes. I don't know if i will try it, i always want to have a different colours of contactlenses. It would look great i think. I dont think it has to do with fashion. I think its because you want to be different. I always got fascinated with the different of eye colours to some who wore them. My eyes got irritated easily. I was supposed to buy one day of these good sets of contactlenses with natural colours. But i surprised when i heard from one of my friend who i havent seen in awhile, she wore an eyepatched. She told me about what happen and how did it happen. She wore them the night of the Party and got drunk, she forgot to take it out of her eyes and she was wore them to sleep. The next day was she cant open her eyes. her right eye pupil skin was damaged. Now, shes a one-eyed girl. Good thing the other eye was saved. Or she would be totally blind! [sassyangelee]

Hi insulin. I wear soft contact lenses mostly. I do wear glasses in the evening at home and maybe on weekends, if I feel lazy and just don't want to mess with putting my contacts in. I first wore glasses in first grade and couldn't afford contacts til age 21 or so. Boy, was I ever excited when I got that first pair! and that was when there were only hard contacts and they hurt like heck! But I didn't care. Thankfully, over the years, many improvements were made on contacts. So, my contacts now don't ever hurt. I can wear them from morning til night, really, and they never hurt. I prefer to wear glasses, simply for the fact that the last when I checked into contacts, the doctor said that because of my eyesight I could only wear one contact, not two for some reason, that and when my brother first got contacts he went nuts because one got stuck in his eye, sorry, but I don't want anything in or for that matter close to my eye except for glasses, I have enough trouble getting eye drops in there when they get dry. Actually I wear both. Glasses when I first get up in the morning to wake up. Then I put my contacts in.
