I hate eyes glasses and it makes me have headache is i wear it and I have never use it to read. Do you use it while reading?

Yes I wear eye glasses when reading. I hate it too I am not used to eye glasses and they slide down on my nose, I look up and I can't see good with them on. I forget where they are when I need them. That is why I don't read as much as I use too. [Chevee]

I have to wear glasses all the time. My glasses are bifocals. I have to use the bottom half of them to read. You are very fortunated that you don't have to wear glasses. I will wear them for reading small print, but not all the time as I can usually see what I read. However, it could be that you need a prescription and that the eye glasses you have are the wrong strength for you. It also could be that you have something else with your eyes and you need that in consideration. So what you should do is to make an appointment with your optometrist and he will give you the glasses that you need. [suspenseful]

They have different types of surgeries but they do not last and I am still skeptical of it. They do have bi-focal contacts, and I use them, but they do take getting used to. I do not use them all of the time. If you are getting headaches from your reading glasses, it is most likely you need a new prescription as I never get headaches from mine. [nanajanet]
Yes I wear glasses while reading as I cannot see to read without them. I am getting old and while I had perfect eyesight for most of my life your eyes just get old and you either wear glasses or give up reading. I did not like glasses either so I gave up reading for years. Now I am enjoying reading again. If your glasses are giving you headaches then they are too strong and you need to have your eyes properly tested by an optometrist. You should only wear glasses for reading that have been designed for reading. In a proper eye test they test for how your eyesight works at different distances. I only need glasses for reading. Some people need different glasses for reading and driving etc. If you wear the wrong glasses for the wrong task you will get eye strain and that will give you headaches. [sharra1]
