Yes, I do wear glasses. I've started wearing them ten years ago at the age of 12. Do I like them? hmmmm... I guess I like hiding behind them. I could easily manage without them but I choose to wear them wherever, whenever. I'm not a fan of contacts because I've tried them and it's such a hassle putting them on and you always have to be extra careful with them. [dianne17k]
I do wear glasses. Do i like wearing glasses? nope. I am nearsighted so i have to wear them to see more tham a foot in front of my face but i have to take them off to read. Trying to keep up with them is irritating. Maybe if i didn't read a lot it wouldn't be so bad. I always have to correct my sight wearing or glasses or contact lenses. Contact lenses I use them at work or to do sports, when it rains... in any situation when glasses wouldn't be comfortable. For all the rest or at home always glasses. I wouldnpt wear anything if I could. It's surely wonderful not needing any correction at all. [overwings]

I wear glasses. But sometimes I use contact lens. It's not comfortable using glasses or contact lens. I regret now that I did not take care of my eyes when I was younger. If you do not need to wear glasses I am happy for you...just take care of them :-) [headhunter525]

I have been at school for over 20 years. But i have no glasses. Thanks to my parents for giving me such a good eyesight. I remembet that when I was quite young, I admired the person with glasses very much for I thought he must be very knowledgeable. Yes i wear glasses. I have been wearing them since i was fourteen. At first i didn't like wearing them but now i am older i don't mind. I have to wear them for close work and the telly but don't have to wear them for reading. [littleone3]
The only time I wear glasses is when I drive. Its hard for me to see the signs on the road especially at night time. And when I took my drivers test I failed the eye exam and I had to get glasses now I have to where them every time I drive. But I dont where it otherwise since I dont need to. I wear glasses and have since I was 9 years old.........I am 53. I wore contacts for a while but when I had to have bifocals, I couldn't wear contacts anymore, so I had to go back to my glasses. I could have done reading glasses, but I didn't want to have to worry about carrying a pair of glasses with me all the time, so I just went back to wearing them. Do I like wearing them..........NO!! They get in the way and they are expensive. I do have the lineless bifocals and the transisions, which get darker in the sun, so they are more expensive, but I like them better that way. I can't afford the surgery to correct my vision or I might consider having it done. [idowrite72]
I love wearing my glasses and feel naked without them! I also can not see well enough without them! (grin) To me there are an extension of myself .. added eyes (grin) ... glasses are also very useful in keeping flying dust and other objects out of one's eyes .. a helpful barrier ... Yes, I do wear them. I began wearing them when was about 6 or 7 years old. I don't like them, but what can I do? Good news is that until some years ago I had to wear them near all of the time. Hi there palina77, I wear my glasses every day. I think i look better with my glasses, you see, i have a very flat nose, and the glasses is cover a bit of that small nose. LOLlolbeside, i need this glasses to see, i only put them when i a rived home in my room. Sometime when i watch tv from a distance i need it again. So glasses sometimes ended near my pillow when i go to sleep. [diansinta]
lol i am 51 now, i could manage without glasses up to age of 45, then i used glasses for reading only, two years ago i had to use a glass for viewing letters on boards during seminars, now i wear a bifocal executive with coated lenses, it protects from uv radiation too....
