Hi simplyman! I think you are absolutely right about this idea. Eventhough money plays most part in this world, but not all things. Three major things money can not buy is happiness, love and life. You find out that some got married to their partner as a result of their wealth and you find out that problem will always be found in that marriage. Some people try to show money to people their admire (most escially to female), but they hardly get the true love of that person. When I was young money never really was an issue, and it certainly isnt now either. I dont earn much and I really dont care. Money only offers me more options, not happiness or feeling of success. It doesnt really provide security (but its something you can enhance by having more money), so no... money doesnt do anything to but being a means to daily life. I only need it to pay my rent and my food, the rest is up to me. I have an uncle who nearly buggled under when I told him what career I wanted many years back... His only argument was: But theres no room for advancement and the income is bad!!!!" Well Im doing what I love to do, and I live my life pretty much as I dreamed I wanted to. My uncle just got divorced cause he didnt have time for his family, and is pretty much in a hole emotionally that his life is unfulfilled... But he has lots of money.... [Bunsdk]

Definitely agree. Money is not everything. .Money can let you buy all material possessions in the world. .But it cannot buy everything. Especially love, definitely not love. Just like those celebrities going wild out there such as Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, etc.. Those women are what? Still in there 20's and they are already millionaires.. But what are they doing? They are going wild out there. Spending lots of money in drinking, drugs ,etc.. The commit lots of traffic violations and what so ever. Meaning, even though they are already filthy rich.. Still, it cannot make them fully happy. Am I right? I do hope that they'll change for good. It serves as a lesson for the rest of us. that's true money is not really everything. there are lot of things in life that money will not buy us. money can't buy us peace and contentment. wish that money would so that i will be able to live a simple life. but money seem s without meaning at all. sometimes we thing money is just a way to show people that we are happy even though we are not. we try to earn too much to get the best things in lfe. but we are disappointed if we don't get happiness ont eh thigns that we have in life. hoping that we wil finally reach happines if we get more money. we try to earn more. and we try to ahve all those fancy things life can offer. but seems nothing can satisfy us. only peace from GOd will really give us happines. only true happiness coming from God will be permanent. happiness for the things that we achieved will last only for a day or two. and sometimes shorter than that. i had bought so many thngs that i was fancying but i though i was happy with those. i did not feel i am any better person after getting those expensive thigns. i still looking for some thigns that will really make me satisfied. happines sometimes we get from being with friends. and when the friends has gone away we end sad as before. so friends will not really provide us lasting happines. only from God will we be able to get a lasting happines. happines comes from doing sacrificial things for toher. when we love others, when we give to others, when we live for others, then we will live in happines. if we live for ourselves we will not get happiness. i believe true happiness is possible by living a simple life. by taking away those unnecessary things we will take away those thiings that gives us a heavy feeling. if we strip down those unimportant things we will see the basic things in life that will really gives us happines.
