I enjoy reading so many different genres, all under fiction, that it's hard to say just what I do not like. I do enjoy books that are westerns, romances, inspirational, mysteries, there are so many different choices of genres....
I do enjoy non fiction biographies as I find them amusing to some extent, although I'd have to say I've only read and enjoyed one biography, an autobiography that.

Hi i like to read spy stories books. When i was in the collage i like to read spy story books as well as those books which tells you how the ancient developments had happen as per the science predictions as well as science rules. I like to read the ancient architectures which are made by using the purely science copncepts which are being used even todat. [aamitd_007]
I Think that spy stories are also great as well, I am not a fan of scientific stories, and don't support a lot of different scientific studies. I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
I love detective novels and books which are related with chemistry and electro magnetic induction. [Jouhar]
Detective novels are really fun to read as well, although I can say that I am not a fan of chemistry or electro magnetic induction. I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
My favorite genres are crime, murder mysteries and horror. I enjoy reading humor too, but I don't usually look out for these books, as I would for my favorites. [lazeebee]
I also like crime and murder mysteries, not so sure about horror stories though. Humor books are the kinds of books to be picked up occasionally, lol. I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
My current favourite fiction is urban fantasy and military sf. [egdcltd]
well that doesn't really matter, if it's what interests you, you know. [SomeCowgirl]
I like to read drama, romance and funny books. Sometimes I prefer a good biography book. [Lindery]
Drama books are also kind of nice to read as well, but I think it also depends on what is being thrown into the mix on the book. Biographies are nice as well. I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
i will enjoy reading some mystery stories and some fiction and i will sometime prefer science fiction.., i will feel if i didn't feel good i will try some inspirational books.., [prakaashkpk]
ok thanks for your response., happy mylotting..., [prakaashkpk]
I started reading romance novels like Mills & Boon, some Barbara Cartland. I also read a few Nancy Drew Mysteries. Then I got myself a copy of Stephen King's It and read more of his works. I have never really tried reading non-fiction... [ayenacsi]
loved it, it was really scary but more than that it was the story. The book was WAY better than the movie. [ayenacsi]
Hi, I actually read alot of genres. I like romances and horror, mystery, and adventre, scifi and fantasy. I am sure there are other genres that I read as I read almost anykind of fiction there is. I have little use for nonfiction books and very seldom bother to read one. But I love all fiction almost. [MichellinaGem]
That's great, I think fiction novels are so great, and I'm the same with you about non fiction books. I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
I read almost every kind of book there is. Except e books; I want to turn the pages by hand, not click them with my mouse. [MYKLJ999_VERSION_2]
I haven't read ebooks per say, but I've read stories from amateur author's online, I like to be able to turn the pages myself, with books you can keep your place, I don't know about ebooks. [SomeCowgirl]
Hi Some Cowgirl. I never said this but you are one of my oldest friends here (from the favorite friends that is) but anyway to get on topic. I like quite a few genres of books myself, and i got along best with the funny style of Sophie Kinsella (funny adventures with romantic tendencies). I also like sci-fi books based on my favorite games or movies, but i don't get to read those to often as they don't come in cheap. [elitess]
I'm not sure that I like the movie, lol... [SomeCowgirl]
I love reading all kinds of books. The more I have the better. But right now I am reading a lot of James Patterson and Ted Dekker: he is a Christian author but he doesn't put the faith out right in the books. They are really subtle and sometimes I can't find any. [rmuxagirl]
My mother in law reads James Patterson, he sounds like a great author, I haven't heard of Ted Dekker but he sounds like a great author. [SomeCowgirl]
I like fiction a lot. The only non-fiction book I have read so far is Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, totally awesome book. I like that kind of books, actually, I love all Mitch Albom's especially the Five People You Meet In Heaven. It was one of my favorites. I also like the spy/detective/mystery kind of thing. I have Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Sherlock Homes. But then, I also have my Harry Potter series collection and those were my most treasured books along with The Da Vinci Code, it was special because it was given to me by a very good friend who passed away so I really keep and cherish that book. I wanna have my own library someday, lol. [the_dutchess]
You have a very versatile interest in books, lol. There's lots of books out there, keep buying i'm sure you'll get that library. [SomeCowgirl]
When I was still in high school I love romance novels, then when I entered college I preferred suspense, horror and thrilling, but now that I am working, my taste in books progressed to different level, this time I prefer biographical, self-developmental and spiritual books. I find these more productive to read than fiction books. My favorite authors are Dr. Leo Buscaglia, M.Scott Peck and the Filipino Catholic preacher Bo Sanchez. [jlamela]
I can't get interested in books like that, but I admire your tastes in books. [SomeCowgirl]
Science Fiction, double feature... Doctor X, will build a creature.... sorry, broke into song... [ElicBxn]
I saw the movie first run, in a nearly empty theater [ElicBxn]
I am totally hooked on paranormal romance books... and I love historical romance books, I can read books that are contemporary, but I get more out of the paranormal ones and the historical ones. There are several authors that I love in both genre. [bookreadermom08]
oh okay I know what you mean, i've read fanfiction like that when I used to read fanfiction. [SomeCowgirl]
my favorite genre of book would have to be horror/ thriller or suspense...it gets me going..i also love magical like harry potter series and twilight!! it really amuses me and i enjoy it a lot.. [jazel_juan]
Right now I can't say that I have a favorite author. I've read books by Nora Roberts, one by Willie Nelson, and I've also read a book by Vilhelm Moberg. [SomeCowgirl]
Hey someCowgirl! I love to read! My favorite kinds of books are usually mysteries! I love a good mystery novel! I like romance novels too! Sometimes if I find a good autobiography about someone that I am interested in I will read that too. I have even been known to sit down and read a historical novel every now and then. But, most of the time I like to read the lighter type books so I tend to stick to murder mysteries! lol [Opal26]
You have a variety of fiction interests then, well save for the historical books. I enjoy a good historical romance, or just a little piece of history as long as it's written well. Mysteries are so fun to read and they leave you with so many different thoughts! I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
I read fantasy, some science fiction, lots of non-fiction, and an occasional horror novel. Fantasy is the main one though. I'm currently reading David Farland's series: The Saga of the Runelords [Bohemian77]
I am not a big fan of non fiction, but I admire people who read non fiction. Horror Novels are great, but I don't know so much about the gore of it. Lol, well I like a few fantasy type novels but then again am not a big fan of that either. The Saga of the Runelords sounds very exciting. [SomeCowgirl]
Hello SomeCowgirl! I love to read fiction romance novel. I used to buy books like that when I was in college but right now, I was not able to read it. I am really hook up here in mylot that thinking about reading is out to me. [aisaellis22]
oh and i'd have more if I hadn't found a new addiction ... lol... [SomeCowgirl]
I like mystery, romantic and inspirational books. Sometimes I do enjoy reading real life stories too. [magicalangel]
Glad that you enjoy these type of books, I also enjoy them. I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
I enjoy reading different genres, but my favorites genres are thrillers, horror and mysterie. It depends on my mood which genres i read. [Jody20]
Whoop! Let me guess... you must enjoy a stormy night too! w00t [lordwarwizard]
I enjoy all genres with one exception I HATE westerns. I think mysteries, especially involving court trials, is my favorite. [whiteheather39]
To each their own! I appreciate the response! [SomeCowgirl]
Well, I have a degree in psychology, so, obviously I love psychology books and self-help books. Other than that, I like historic and action books. Whenever I am stressed or have been working long hours I prefer chick lit, nothing like it to relax :) [crisella74]
You have a great taste in books! I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
i like reading biographies, inspirational and yeah comic books too.lol [hitejam89]
Wide variety of books, great choices. happy. I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
I read anything and everything. It's the learning that it's important to me. BUT, every once awhile I get a longing for a good mystery. Guess it's the natural problem solver in me........ [sparkofinsanity]
I'm hooked on Discovery Channel, what can I say? LOL [sparkofinsanity]
I am currently enjoying a autobiography. I like crime/murder - but modern. Anything moving and real. [saffrondallas]
Modern mystery? sometimes I like a little bit vintage, lol, but modern murder mysteries are fun too. You like t.v. shows about murder and mystery? [SomeCowgirl]
Hi SomeCowGirl, My favorite 2 genres are fantasy and science fiction. I have loved the former since I was little and have recently picked up the latter and liking it quite a bit. Reading is fun, enjoy! happy [lordwarwizard]
Sometimes fantasy and sci fi mix, glad you enjoy these genres! I appreciate the response! [SomeCowgirl]
I love all kinds of fiction. I don't think there is anything that I don't like..well horror. I can't read anything that is scary because I have too vivid of an imagination and it makes me imagine the scary stuff when I try to sleep. [rmuxagirl]
I know what you mean, I've imagined the stuff from scary movies and woke up from a nightmare. [SomeCowgirl]
I'm quite picky with the books I read, since my interest basically is geared towards romance and humor. I love reading romance novels and chic lit (the interest in the latter was due to my best bud who loved chic lits), with a bit of adventure and suspense. I also like reading classics with love stories, such as Jane Eyre. =) [athelene]
It's quite fine to be picky when it comes to books as no one author is always the same. I enjoy romance novels as well, and suspense is nice from time to time! I appreciate the response. [SomeCowgirl]
This is a really good discussion baby, and all the discussions you make are really well written, and I am sure all your discussions will get a lot of responses from other mylotters, and I am sure that everyone has different preferences when it comes to reading because different genres of books appeal to different people, and I know that you enjoy different genres and that you enjoy reading in general, when it comes to me I used to like to read as a kid,but as I got older I had trouble keeping my attention on the book, but when I did read I loved mystery books like the Clue books and the Boxcar Children books, now I have found that when you read aloud to me,I can concentrate and I have found that I still enjoy mystery books, but I also enjoy western books, especially books like A Tale Out Of Luck and I hope that Willie Nelson writes more books, and I also hope that we can find more James Patterson books featuring Alex Cross,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with your mylotting especially the tasks, and Happy Posting. [hellcowboy]
i like to read mostly thriller, horror, mystery, comedy but with interesting story line i'm not much fan of biography but i love paranormal [Tango2003]
I am glad to hear it! Reading can be so much fun, do you agree? Happy Reading to you as well as happy mylotting! Welcome to mylot and I appreciate the response. Have a wonderful day. [SomeCowgirl]
