I'm one among the people who read the last page of the newspaper first.happy Then I read the first page and go on to the second. I know few of my friends who read the sports page first. How about you? Which page of the newspaper do you read first?

me and my husband share the newspaper in the morning so I don't have any particular page to start with. It would be anything on the top of the various newspaper sections that my husband did not pick out first. But most of the time, my husband would get the sports section. So I'd be picking up the thickest section which is the headlines and news. [bubbletush]

I use to read the first page as most people do.I focus on the headlines first and go through the entire paper all headings and read the news in detail if it interests me.Then in the evening,i read completely all the news.I am not much interested with sports column like you.Cheers! [srganesh]

I read the front page first to catch the latest big events, and after a quick glance over pages, to settle on the page of life. This page usually focus on stories around us, and health tips, which is my focus too. The travel page is also attractive to me. Me, i used to read the horoscope page first, for me it's the most interesting content of the news paper, then i will turn to the celebrity, the show business page, i want to ne updated of my favorite stars, then the last is the undying current events, which are mostly politics and problems. I will glance at the front page, but that's usually not the first page that I will actually read, unless something really catches my eye. During the basball season, I will glance at the back page (the sports) if I don't know what my team did, but once again I don't usually read about it. The first thing I usually jump to is the comic section. I have always started with the comics, I think because, the rest of the paper is just so filled with bad stuff. i chose the editorial page first....after completing the editorial page ill skim for cinema news...i have much interest in cinema...ill go through the cinema central pages fully.. then i ll go for the sports page...mostly i will watch all the sports action in television itself, so there is no much need in seeing it again in paper...ESPN is providing a complete sports centre which covers all the sports.. then the main page of the paper... this is how i read the news paper... Well, the main thing that I always find myself reading if I purchase a News Paper is the front page first, and then go from there. Because most of the time, it will be something on the front page that tends to catch my eye anyways as well. I read the first page, then I turn to the middle of the newspaper and read the cartoons to cheer myself from the negative headlines we seem to be having these days. Then I will go and read the horoscope page. Sometimes it way of the mark, but at other times, it is uncanny how accurate it can be happy - Derek [derek_a]

I used to do the same. The last 3 or 4 pages are generally related to sports. So I used to first check Cricket or Football news. Then later my craze towards sports declined and I started reading the main news which appears on the front page first. The second page consists of readers comments etc. So I tend to ignore it and move to the 3rd page which has more news. Then from 3rd page to the end. [VANILLAREY]

I go straight for the crossword page straight away! I love doing the two crosswords in our daily paper as well as the suduko puzzle. I feel a sense of achievement when I have completed both of them on my own and the suduko too. I usually read the local section first. I try to find out if anything has happened in the area that I live that I didn't know about. Hi smilyn! I read the front page first. The most important news are more often than not found on the front page. Then, I would go over very important articles. After reading front page stories, I would read the business section of the newspaper. That portion is important for me because I use it to enhance my lectures.
